Symposium 2024
The 18th Symposium on Foresight and Technology Planning took place from December 5th to 6th, 2024, at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. Organized by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roman Dumitrescu and Prof. Dr. Katharina Hölzle, the symposium brought together 60 participants from academia and industry, providing ample opportunity for stimulating discussions and insights into the future of technology planning. The addition of the Industry Track offered participants a practical perspective and concrete application examples on various topics.
Symposium 2023
The 17th Symposium on Foresight and Technology Planning took place on September 14 and 15, 2023 at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences. Under the motto "Recognizing the potential for success of tomorrow and how AI can support it," the event offered a first-class platform for the exchange of ideas and insights into the future of technology planning. For the first time, the symposium was organized by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roman Dumitrescu together with Prof. Dr. Katharina Hölzle from the Fraunhofer Innovation Research Group and brought together over 70 participants from science and business. The discussions focused on the interaction between humans and machines and on the role of AI as a driver for new visions and ideas.
